Welcome everybody, my name is Hailey and I am one of your course tutors here at the Event Crowd. My background is in music and sporting live events and festivals, and I’m so excited to see the amazing work you produce whilst on this course.

Hello everyone, I’m Lucy. I currently am a full time employee, I’m an assistant manager. I’m looking to have a complete career change… very excited! So thought I’d start as I mean to go on with learning more about the industry.

[Samantha Pagett]

Hi! My name’s Sam and I have just signed up for this course. I am a manager for a small festival called Wizzafest, we have had a break for the last 3 years but are now begging preparations for 2024 (looking for passionate volunteers if anyone’s interested)! Wizzafest is a 4-day charity event that raises money for cancer charities and welcomes around 2000 people. I also own my own content writing agency, which allows me to travel anywhere in the world. However, I am at a stage in my life where I am ready to settle down and stop moving around so much. Events are my passion, and I am ready to pursue what I really love doing. I am excited to get going on this course and begin expanding my knowledge and skills (and to put everything I learn into growing Wizzafest!) I also teach hula-hooping and my dream is to run a hula-hoop retreat one day.

Hello everyone! 🙂
My name is Sophie, I’m 26, and I’ve just enrolled onto the events management diploma. I am so excited to be here!
I have worked in a large PLC company working in engagement, communications and events for 5 years, and have progressed throughout the company with no prior education in events management – just a passion for making people happy and being good at what I do! I decided to join the Event Crowd family because I wanted to educate myself more on the industry and opportunities out there.
I am a HUGE fan of music events, I spend a lot of my free time at them (where are my tech-house kings and queens at??? HMU!) and I studied Music Industry in college as I always dreamed about being involved as part of my career. I’m hoping this course puts me on a path back to those dreams, but I’m open to learning all about different areas in events management and finding where my niche is.
