As part of the Marketing team, you will be expected to have excellent communication skills as well as a real passion for events; you will need to be highly organised. We’re looking for someone that’s flexible and works well under pressure where required. You will ideally have a good eye for detail and the ability to research and plan ahead to ensure that the company’s annual events calendar all runs smoothly. B2B focused events experience is a real must as the role focuses on the logistics of preparing for events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with design of stand / materials and researching topics for speaking opportunities
  • Liaise with suppliers / designers to help prepare for upcoming events
  • Research and plan the upcoming year’s events calendar for the company; understanding opportunities and gauging costs for event attendance and other opportunities (sponsorship, speaking options, etc.) to help form annual budget spend
  • Support commercial team by arranging travel and accommodation around events for commercial team attendees; supporting sales team members who will attend
  • Prepare content and populate materials for virtual events
  • Inbound point of contact for all queries related to events from internal and external stakeholders
  • Organise internal company events
