Screenology

We’re on the hunt for an energetic and resourceful part-time Events Lead. This role will drive our commitment to deepen our student engagement, and forge lasting connections with our local community of makers and creators. Screenology/Make Happen Institute is a unique creative learning organisation delivering BA and MA programmes to a diversity of creatives. You will be someone who makes things happen and gets things done. You bring order to chaos, solutions to problems and humour to challenges.

As our Events Lead, you will:

• Collaborate closely with team members to conceptualise, plan, and bring to life both in-house and public events (including pitching events, screenings, celebrations and open days).
• Create content to support our event marketing, ensuring all events are captured through photos, videos and testimonials.
• Ensure each event aligns with our mission and values, deepening bonds with our student body and the broader maker community.
• You will be hands-on at before and during events, organising staff and volunteers.
• Each month you will be required to work once or twice into the evening (no later than 8pm) and Saturdays.
