Key responsibilities:

  • Perform general site maintenance tasks to ensure the festival maintains a high standard of presentation.
  • Assist people coming into the festival and distributing wristbands. 
  • Participate in fundraising activities to support our nominated charity Marie Curie.
  • Follow directions accurately and exhibit a willingness to learn new tasks swiftly.
  • Embrace new challenges and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Assist with various activities essential to the running of the festival, including setup and pack down.
  • Be available to support the festival before, during, and after the event days.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A proactive approach to seeking guidance when uncertain.
  • The ability to follow instructions carefully and accurately.
  • A positive attitude towards working hard while having fun.
  • An understanding of the charitable aims of Wizzafest and a commitment to its values.

Time commitment

Volunteers are needed throughout the festival duration, primarily directed by the Volunteer Coordinator. A commitment to work six hours per day is expected – Friday 23rd – Monday 26th August 2024.
