This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, experienced, and motivated individual with a passion for creating high impact events and driving innovation. As Head of Events for the British Fashion Council you will be uniquely placed in the heart of the UK fashion industry, planning and delivering a portfolio of world class events, including London Fashion Week and the Fashion Awards.

Responsibilities:

• Work with BFC’s Internal Board of Directors on translating the strategic objectives of the company into an annual programme of physical and virtual events that enhances the perception of the BFC brand.
• End to end project management, including critical path management, resolution, and escalation of issues/delays and full budget responsibility.
• Monitor and deliver to quarterly OKR targets assigned to the Events team.
• Extensive liaison and negotiation with external bodies, suppliers, contractors, agencies and consultants to meet delivery pre, during and post event.
• Liaison with the relevant agencies such as local councils, Met police and TFL to ensure the smooth running of the LFW schedule across London.
• Forge and maintain excellent professional relationships with on-site teams, contractors, and providers, ensuring exceptional delivery of service to meet all requirements.
