Role: Junior Events Venue Operations Team Member (Full Time) – July 2022

Reports into: Head of Operations

Location: The Truman Brewery, 15 Hanbury Street E1 6QR

Contract Type: Full Time 45 hours per week including weekend and evening flexibility

The Truman Brewery Event Operations Team is looking to recruit a highly organised Junior Event Operations member of staff to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely to provide operational, administrative, and general departmental support. This is a great opportunity to learn about the events industry and join a creative and vibrant team.

Please note this is not an events production role.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Collating specific event documents (e.g. contracts, risk assessments, event floor plans, event schedules etc.) and general administration work for each event
  • Willing to be flexible and assist as necessary in all aspects of the day to day running of the office and our events. To include occasional early get-ins (damage checks) for events and acting as onsite duty venue representative during out of office hours events
  • Integrating with the whole team to ensure a smooth transition from venue sales to post event
  • Develop a good knowledge of our event spaces and the type of events hosted
  • Supporting the team on site visits for clients and suppliers
  • Understanding detailed events requirements for security/ traffic management, cleaning, and waste management to generate quotes
