Welcome to The Event Crowd’s Wedding Planning Diploma!

Our comprehensive online course will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to plan and execute unforgettable weddings. Whether you’re just starting out in the industry or looking to enhance your existing skills, this diploma is the perfect fit for you.

The course is broken down into four modules, which you will navigate in chronological order:

Module 1 – Wedding Foundations

This module covers the fundamental elements of wedding planning, including the roles and responsibilities of the wedding planner, wedding etiquette, and legal requirements.

Module 2 – Business Operations

In this module, you will learn about the business side of wedding planning, including attending and exhibiting at wedding fairs, budget management, sales and clients, and using social media for marketing.

Module 3 – Delivery & Service

This module focuses on the delivery and execution of weddings, including themes and motifs, working with suppliers and vendors, choosing venues, and providing luxury service.

Module 4 – Wedding Spotlight

The final module showcases different types of weddings, including religious traditions, celebrity weddings, micro weddings, and destination weddings.

Throughout the course, you will be encouraged to take notes and engage in self-reflection. You will need to mark each session as complete before moving on to the next one. At the end of the course, you will take a comprehensive test to assess your knowledge. You will have two opportunities to take this test and must score at least 40% to pass.

In addition to the diploma, you will receive 12 months of access to The Event Crowd’s Jobs board. This board includes a mix of jobs in the events industry, including wedding planning positions. If you’re interested in event management jobs as well, we recommend also completing our Event Management Diploma.
