Charlie has an in depth background both producing big events and managing complex event safety. Lecturing in many institutions, Charlie teaches up and down the country including The Event School London, Manchester Met, Westminster Munster Tech Uni and Staffordshire University. During his career, Charlie has worked on televised events since 1997, covering a broad scope of national sporting events including the Football league playoffs as well as MOTD’s live show. He worked as the senior operations manager at The Great Run Company, creating the operational and safety systems for the series. A big job for a series that spanned as far as Addis Ababa! Now, Charlie works freelance as a safety and operations consultation for events around the country.
