Key responsibilities:

  • Attend all team meetings, capturing detailed notes and highlighting key decisions and action points.
  • Distribute meeting minutes promptly to all team members and stakeholders.
  • Organize and maintain digital records of all meeting documents for easy access and reference.
  • Collaborate with team members to clarify any uncertainties in meeting discussions or outcomes.

Time commitment:

The role requires availability for a maximum of two meetings per month, typically lasting around 1.5 hours each. However, full team meetings may extend beyond this duration.

Meetings:

Most of our meetings are conducted through Zoom or Microsoft Teams, with occasional in-person meetings in Birmingham. Candidates unable to attend in-person meetings in Birmingham will still be considered for the role.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Exceptional note-taking and written communication skills.
  • Organized, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong interest in event planning and management, with a desire to learn and contribute to the success of the festival.
  • Previous experience in a secretarial role is not required.
